Your unneeded glasses can change a life
Lions International has partnered with many Walmart Vision Centers to accept donated eyeglasses for recycling. Because participation varies by location, please call your local Walmart Vision Center to confirm they accept eyeglass donations.
How to Donate at Walmart
- Go to the Walmart Store to find a nearby Walmart Vision Center.
- Call ahead to confirm they accept eyeglass donations.
- Look for the Lions Club donation bin, typically blue and white, near the Vision Center entrance.
Collected glasses are periodically sent to the nearest Lions Eyeglass Recycling Center. Walmart will accept prescription eyeglasses, prescription sunglasses and children’s glasses. They will not accept reading glasses, broken glasses or glasses missing lenses.
If no Walmart Vision Center near you accepts donations, you may also check with your local Lions Clubs using the Club Locator or mail eyeglasses directly to the nearest Lions Eyeglasses Recycling Center (LERC).
